Who we are
Legal name: HonestHand LLC
Brand: HonestHand
Location: Texas
Ownership: Veteran Owned & Operated
What we are: A funding-intelligence and grant research service. We are not a law firm, accounting firm, or financial advisor.
What we do — and do not do
✓ Research grants, tax credits, and incentives
✓ Write and submit applications you approve
✓ Track deadlines and post-award compliance steps
✕ No lobbying, appropriations, or earmark work
✕ No success fee or percentage of an award
✕ No guaranteed funding or eligibility
Sources: official .gov sources only. Every opportunity in a report links to the administering agency. Program availability and eligibility are not guaranteed. Always verify directly with the administering agency before applying. For informational purposes only. Not financial, legal, or tax advice.
For small counties and county employees
Many small Texas counties do not have a full-time grant writer. The County Judge and Auditor carry that work on top of everything else, and deadlines get missed. HonestHand is built for that gap — capped scope, a report written for Commissioners Court, and a price a small county can actually approve.
What a county gets each month
- A 1-page monthly report for Commissioners Court: opportunities found, applications submitted, deadlines, and next steps
- A funding calendar for roads, water, public safety, parks, hazard mitigation, and other county priorities
- Up to 3 active applications at a time in the pilot retainer — so scope stays clear
- A quarterly briefing to the Court, in person or by video
County timeline — 6-month pilot
- Month 1: Choose 2–3 priority projects with the County Judge. Build the funding list and deadline calendar.
- Months 2–3: Draft and, with county approval, submit the first applications.
- Months 4–5: Keep the pipeline moving, track agency responses, and prepare compliance steps.
- Month 5 review: Written review of what was submitted and what is next. The county can then renew for 12 months or stop at the end of the pilot term, under the contract terms.

A scan is not a commitment. It is a short list of programs that appear relevant to your county's priorities, so the Court can decide with real information.

How it works
- Tell us about your business or county. A short intake form — industry or county priorities, location, entity type, revenue or budget range. About two minutes.
- We match you to verified opportunities. We search federal, state, and local programs and organize every relevant grant, tax credit, loan, and incentive into one clear report.
- You get a clear report, updated every month. Each opportunity shows its value, deadline, eligibility match, and next step.
- For retainer clients, we do the application work you approve. You review and approve drafts before anything is submitted in your name.
Questions county officials ask us
Who signs the contract, and with whom?
With HonestHand LLC. The contract will state the scope, monthly fee, term, deliverables, and termination terms in plain language before work begins.
Do you lobby for earmarks or appropriations?
No. This service covers competitive and formula grant research, writing, and administration only. If a county later wants lobbying, that would be a separate arrangement with a registered lobbyist, not HonestHand.
Can you guarantee we will win a grant?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We can guarantee deliverables — research, drafts, submissions you approve, and monthly reporting — not agency decisions.
Who owns the work?
Reports, applications, and calendars prepared for your county are for your county's use, as stated in the contract. We do not sell your county's information.
What happens at the end of a pilot?
You receive a written month-5 review. You can renew for 12 months, continue on monthly intelligence only, or end at the pilot term under the contract terms.
Where does the information come from?
Official government sources only — .gov agency pages, program notices, and published guidance — linked in each report so your staff can verify it directly.

Privacy and terms, in plain language
What we collect: Only what you send us to prepare a report — your name, county or business name, priorities, location, and contact information.
What we do with it: We use it to research and prepare your report and to reply to you. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it except as needed to prepare work you asked for.
Terms: Reports are for informational purposes only and are not financial, legal, or tax advice. Program availability and eligibility are not guaranteed. Always verify directly with the administering agency before applying. Retainer work is governed by a separate written contract, which states scope, fee, term, and termination before work begins.
